Cyber Learning Lead at Absa Group

Nicole Cader has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nicole began their career as an HR consultant at BMW SA (Pty) Ltd in 2002 and worked there until 2007. Nicole then moved on to work as an HR business partner at Standard Bank - CIB from 2008 to 2012. Nicole continued their journey with Standard Bank Group, where they took on the role of Talent Manager from 2012 to 2013 and later served as a Human Capital Business Partner from 2013 to 2015. Nicole then joined Absa Group as an Employee Engagement Manager from 2015 to 2018. During their time at Absa Group, they also held the role of Delivery Manager Platform Engineering from 2018 to 2020, where they successfully managed the delivery of a platform re-build project. Later, they were promoted to the position of Head: Platform Engineering from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Cyber Learning Lead at Absa Group, starting from 2022. Nicole has a strong focus on building relationships and collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure the success of projects.

Nicole Cader completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management and Economics at Rhodes University from 1997 to 2000. Nicole then pursued a post-graduate diploma in Human Resource Management at the University of Cape Town in 2001. In 2006, Nicole obtained a Bcom Honours degree in Industrial Psychology with a focus on Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Johannesburg.
