Nyasha Takawira

Nyasha Takawira is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in reward management within the banking and finance sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Reward for Absa Corporate and Investment Banking since October 2022, Nyasha has previously held key roles at Old Mutual Limited as Senior HC Manager Reward and at Absa Group in various capacities, including Reward Head for Retail & Business Bank. With a foundation in reward analysis and consultancy developed during tenures at Barclays Africa Group Limited and early experience as a Junior Account Executive at Aztec South Africa, Nyasha's expertise is backed by a B.Bus.Sci in Economics Honours from the University of Cape Town. Additionally, leadership experience includes serving as Vice-President of the Investment Society at the University of Cape Town and co-directing the Investec Young Women in Finance Conference.
