Rachit Jain

Rachit Jain has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Rachit started their career at MooreStephens as an IS Auditor in September 2005 and worked there until June 2006. Rachit then moved on to PwC Mauritius, where they worked as a Manager from July 2006 to July 2008. In August 2008, they joined Barclays Bank as the Regional Head of LAM and Data Quality, where they worked until November 2012. Rachit then joined Barclays Africa Technology as the Chief Operating Officer in November 2012 and held the position until August 2015. Rachit then became the Head of Technology - Director - Barclays Africa Region and worked there until September 2017. From October 2017 to June 2023, Rachit worked at Absa Group as the CFO- Director-Head of Change Management. Rachit is currently the Head of Operations Africa regions Absa Group Limited, a position they have held since April 2023.

Rachit Jain's education history includes obtaining the ISA certification in Information System Auditing from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2005. In 2006, they pursued further education in Systems Audit, IT Governance, and implementation, earning a CISA degree from ISACA. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, Rachit completed their FCA - Chartered Accountant degree at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, specializing in Accounting, Finance, Costing, Forex, and EDP. Lastly, from 1999 to 2003, they obtained a BCOM degree from Panjab University, focusing on Commerce, Management accounts, Finance, and Accounts.
