Robyn Lawson

Robyn Lawson has extensive experience in the financial services sector, with a notable tenure at Absa Group from December 2014 to August 2023, where Robyn held key leadership positions including Head of Digital Assets Product: Custody and Head of Enablement and Data Analytics within the Corporate and Investment Banking Operations. Prior to this, Robyn managed operations as Head of Operations at Absa Capital Securities, focusing on team performance and strategic initiatives. Experience at Barclays as Vice President in Global FX Operations involved team management and post-trade services. Additional roles include Senior Financial Audit Manager at Cell C and Manager Risk & Control Solutions at PwC, complemented by earlier experience as an Accountant at KPMG New Zealand. Robyn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, specializing in Accounting and Management from Victoria University of Wellington.
