Shaun D'Maye

Shaun D'Maye serves as the Lead Business Enablement and Head of Transformation and Advanced Production at Absa Group since September 2019, focusing on transformation delivery and automation through RPA and other technologies. With a robust background in business banking, Shaun has held various leadership roles within Absa Group, including Chief Operating Officer for Alternative Business Models, and has been instrumental in implementing customer value propositions and managing commercial operations. Prior experience includes serving in operational risk management and transaction support at Absa as well as a secondment in the UK Corporate COO team at Barclays. Shaun's extensive education includes multiple advanced degrees in information technology, business administration, and regulatory training, supplemented by certifications from prestigious institutions such as MIT and the University of Oxford.
