Shyam Ganda

Shyam Ganda is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in debt and leverage finance. Currently serving as Director for SA Debt/Leverage Finance at Absa Group since June 2018, Shyam previously held the position of Vice President in the same area. Additionally, from April 2014 to the present, Shyam has been Vice President of Africa Leverage Finance at Barclays Africa Group Limited, focusing on origination, structuring, and execution. Prior to this, Shyam worked at Absa Capital as a Transactor in Structured Capital Markets, and gained experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Assistant Manager in Assurance and as a Senior Associate at the New York office in alternative investments. Shyam holds a Bachelor of Accounting (CA) from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Higher Diploma in International Taxation from the University of Johannesburg.
