Steven Blignaut

Steven Blignaut has extensive experience in test automation and quality assurance. Steven started their career at UCS Software as a Senior Tester from an unknown start date until November 2010. Steven then worked at Dynamic Testing Solutions as a Test Automation Team Lead from November 2010 to April 2014. After that, they joined Perago as a Test Automation Team Lead and QA Manager from May 2014 to September 2015. Following that, they worked as a Test Automation Consultant for SIA S.p.A., specifically for Perago, from September 2015 to April 2016. In 2016, they joined iLAB as a Technical Test Analyst at ABSA, where they implemented a custom test automation framework using Selenium/Grid and worked with SOA, Angular, and Spring technologies until August 2017. Currently, Steven is employed at Absa Group as a Test Automation Architect since August 2017 and currently holds the position of Lead Solutions Architect - Automation - VP, providing direction and thought leadership for ABSA CIB automation.

Steven Blignaut attended Springs Boys High School from 1991 to 1995. Steven did not obtain a degree or specialize in a specific field of study during this time. In addition to their education, Steven has received various certifications in areas such as defect and change management, EJB design and implementation, and software testing. Steven has also obtained certifications from institutions such as IBM, Actuating Consultants, Bytes Technology Group, the Academy of Learning, and CTU Training Solutions (Pty) Ltd.
