Earlier career roles included senior compliance management positions at Standard Bank Group, covering investment banking and compliance functions. Tanya began her legal career as a Candidate Attorney at Joubert Attorneys and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Johannesburg.
