Gustavo Mahler

Gustavo Mahler is currently the Director at AbSci. Gustavo has been with the company since June 2018 and was previously a Board Member. Prior to joining AbSci, Gustavo was with Life Science Washington as an Executive Board Member. Before that, they were with AGC Biologics and Bayer Healthcare. At Bayer Healthcare, Gustavo was the VP of Technical Operations and was responsible for the ramp-up, operation, and maintenance of all manufacturing operations for Factor VIII. A total of 560 personnel reported to him and their budget was $90 million. From 1994 to 2002, Gustavo was a Regional Manager at Bayer.

Gustavo Mahler has a certification in leadership and management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Gustavo also has an MBA in business from UNED (University of Madrid) and a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Buenos Aires. Lastly, they have an MBS in biochemistry from the University of Buenos Aires.
