Katherine Bateman

Katherine Bateman is an experienced scientist with a strong background in microbiology and a comprehensive career in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently employed as an Associate Scientist II at Absci since October 2020, Katherine previously held the position of Associate Scientist I within the same company. Prior to Absci, Katherine worked as a Recovery Technician at Lions VisionGift from December 2019 to October 2020. Katherine's earlier experience includes a significant tenure as a Senior Research Assistant at Oregon Health and Science University, spanning from September 2012 to October 2020, and as a Research Assistant at Senju Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. from October 2008 to September 2012. Katherine began a career in the field as a Technician at SIGA Technologies for one year, from June 2007 to June 2008. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Oregon State University in 2008.
