Twenty-one years ago, Absinthe began life as a production company dedicated to creating feature-length films spotlighting the athletes, artists and musical passions of the global action-sports community.  In the ensuing years, Absinthe has expanded its scope to include production of outdoor and active-lifestyle content for a host of cutting-edge brands looking to bring energy and authenticity to their campaigns. 

Absinthe Media develops, produces and distributes branded content in a variety of media including television, digital, feature films, brand campaigns, commercial advertising, graphic design, sound design, music supervision, experiential events, OOH, print and social media. Clients and production partners include many of the world's leading brands: Samsung, Nike, Arc'teryx, Volcom, Burton, Salomon, Billabong, Oakley, New Belgium, Monster Energy, Traeger, Swatch Group, Mammoth, Laax, Clif Bar, Mt Bachelor, Ikon Pass, Giro and Smartwool.

In 2019, as a showcase for outdoor and active-lifestyle content, Absinthe Media launched the 24-hour linear channel AbsintheTV on Samsung TV Plus. Whether producing original entertainment or curating content from like-minded creatives, the six pillars of the AbsintheTV channel are Surf, Skate, Snow, Art, Music and Adventure. Absinthe champions themes of Creative Expression, Self-Empowerment, Social Justice, Equality and Environmental Stewardship.
