Doug Holt is an experienced Application Engineer currently at Absolute Machine Tools since February 2023. Previously, Doug worked as a Swiss CNC Setup/Programmer at Gent Machine Company from December 2021 to February 2023, where duties included setting up and programming Swiss CNC machines. Doug also served as a Teacher/Consultant at Cleveland Industrial Training Center, focusing on training students in Swiss CNC machine operation, and assisted with the school's production side. Additionally, Doug held the position of CNC Shift Supervisor at Efficient Machine Products® Corp. and Gent Machine Company, managing daily operations, setups, and production while performing maintenance on various machines. Early career experience includes a Maintenance Technician role at SSP Corporation, providing maintenance to CNC machines. Doug holds a technical degree from Cleveland Industrial Training Center and is pursuing a Certificate of Software Development in Full Stack Development at We Can Code IT.
