Mahfooz Alam

Mahfooz Alam is a skilled GIS Developer at Absolute® since July 2021, specializing in spatial data management and the automation of GIS processes through custom scripts. Previously, Mahfooz served as a GIS Analyst, focusing on remote sensing and model development for agricultural applications. Prior experience includes a role as a GIS Engineer at RMSI, where Mahfooz contributed to GP level yield estimation under the PMFBY Crop Insurance program, and as a Remote Sensing & GIS Consultant, emphasizing satellite image processing for agriculture. Mahfooz started as a Research Intern at the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research, working on snow melting dynamics of Antarctic ice shelves. Mahfooz holds a Master of Science in Remote Sensing and GIS from Kumaun University and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Delhi University.
