Mark Dochstader

Mark Dochstader is an experienced software development professional currently serving as the Director of Software Development at Absorb Software since July 2022. In this role, Mark focuses on enhancing team capabilities in reporting and analytics, data integrations, and content creation, promoting high-value delivery and modernization of engineering practices. Prior to Absorb, Mark held various leadership positions at Bold Commerce and Aucerna, where responsibilities included guiding engineering teams and fostering best practices, particularly in software architecture and development. With a career spanning over two decades, Mark has contributed to multiple notable projects in contracting roles for energy companies and held developer positions at Peloton, Shaw Communications, and iCompass Technologies. Mark holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Applied Computer Science from Thompson Rivers University.
