Marcelo Simões is a seasoned finance professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and strategic management across various industries. As the Founder of Box4u, Marcelo successfully transitioned the crowdfunding platform from concept to profitability, securing pre-seed funding and participation in prominent startup programs. Prior roles include Head of FP&A at Loggi, where Marcelo led significant fundraising efforts and managed relationships with numerous investment funds, and at Vivara, where Marcelo built the FP&A department from the ground up and played a crucial role in the company's IPO. Additional experience includes senior positions at MercadoLibre, Movida Aluguel de Carros, Vale S/A, Webjet Airlines, and Contax, showcasing a strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning. Marcelo holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and dual undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Business Administration.
