Carlos Lucas

Carlos Lucas has a strong background in quality engineering and information security. Carlos began their career as a Project Manager at Colegio Sagrada Familia, where they coordinated development teams and analyzed customer needs. Later, they worked as a Tester and then as a Tester Leader, developing and executing test cases for web developments and desktop applications. Carlos then became a Quality Control Manager, overseeing testing plans and strategies for various projects. At INTERMEDIA, Carlos worked as an IT Analyst, leading the Collaboration Services team and participating in the implementation of the Information Security Management System. Carlos also served as a Security Officer, maintaining the company's information protection and conducting internal audits. In their most recent role at Abstracta Inc., Carlos worked as a Quality Engineer, executing tests on web services and using various tools such as SoapUI, Selenium, and Postman. Throughout their career, Carlos has also gained experience in teaching computer science and working in communication and image areas.

Carlos Lucas has a diverse education history. In 1994, they attended Colegio y Liceo Ntra. Señora del Carmen, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or field of study from this institution. Carlos later pursued a degree in Technical English at Universidad ORT Uruguay from 2008 to 2009. In the same year, they obtained the Microsoft Word Certification from Universidad Católica del Uruguay 'Dámaso Antonio Larranaga'.

In 2011 to 2013, they attained an Analyst in Information Technology degree from Universidad ORT Uruguay. Lastly, in 2016, they engaged in Leadership and Management training for managers at CESA Management Solutions. Carlos then concluded their education by obtaining a degree in Information Security Management from Universidad de la República in 2017.
