Scott Doxey is a web and security engineer at absurd:joy. Scott previously worked as the lead engineer at Cantina, where they built a medial analytic application using Unity for the GearVR, Magic Leap, HoloLens 2, Pico Neo 2, and the Vive Pro Eye. Scott also built a plane-less AR experience with GPS features for iOS and Android.

Before working at Cantina, Doxey was the lead web developer at Staples, where they developed an internal application for managing projects and analyzing timeline inefficiencies. Scott also built a multi-language social networking site used by thousands of employees for posting text, images and videos. Additionally, Doxey built a REST API for time tracking in Node.js, Express, Mustache and MySQL, as well as a system which exports hundreds of articles from WordPress into static HTML pages. Scott facilitated the integration and training of SVN within the agency and also built an SVN tool that allows multiple teams to manage their SVN repositories. Finally, Doxey introduced and trained co-workers in jQuery, WordPress, SASS, Node.JS.

Prior to working at Staples, Doxey worked as a web developer at Digital Media Design from September 2002 to April 2006.

Their manager is Andy Moore, CTO. They are on a team with John Harris - Net Engineer, Anne-Elise Chung - Network Engineer, and Tejas Shroff - Implementation Engineer.
