Jambaa Lkhagva

JAMBAA Lkhagva possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Deputy Chief Of Party at Abt Associates and Director of the Energy Market Research and Planning Division at the Energy Regulatory Commission of Mongolia since December 2016. In this role, JAMBAA conducts comprehensive analyses of Mongolia's energy market, establishes systematic planning for new energy facilities, and improves pricing mechanisms for stakeholders. Additionally, JAMBAA participates in the World Energy Council's Future Energy Leaders Programme and chairs the "Mongol Energy Club," fostering leadership in the Mongolian energy sector. Previous positions include research engineering with the Ministry of Energy on international energy initiatives and a renewable energy specialist at the Energy Authority of Mongolia. JAMBAA holds a Master of Engineering in International Energy Policy from Seoul National University and a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Physics from the National University of Mongolia.
