Casper Meijer

Casper Meijer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control in the civil and construction sectors. Currently serving as a Quality & Welding Engineer IWE at Windbase since June 2019, Casper provides technical advice, conducts inspections, and reviews quality and welding documents for wind turbine foundations and components, concrete structures, and high voltage power transformers. Prior to this role, Casper held a position as a Lead Quality Inspector at ABT bv, leveraging expertise in technical inspections and project management to enhance construction quality. Earlier experience includes quality control for the HSL-Zuid rail tunnel project at Yacht Technology. Educational qualifications include an International Welding Engineer degree from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and a civil engineering degree from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, alongside ongoing training in visual welding inspection.
