Michael Budge serves as the Director of Finance at ABTA since December 2025. Previously, Michael held the position of Non Executive Director at CAA International from January 2023 to December 2025 and was the Head Of ATOL at the Civil Aviation Authority from December 2012 to December 2025, where responsibilities included oversight of ATOL functions. Michael’s career also includes roles such as Associate Director in Acquisition Finance at Clydesdale Bank and Corporate Finance Manager at BDO UK, where significant experience in financial due diligence across various sectors and regions was gained. Prior to these roles, Michael worked as an Audit Senior, managing audits for clients ranging from SMEs to FTSE 250 companies. Michael is a qualified ACA and holds a BSc in Accounting and Economics from the University of Southampton.
