Joseph Grimes

Joseph Grimes has extensive experience in the aviation industry, holding key positions at various organizations. At Abu Dhabi Airports, Joseph has served in multiple roles since May 2014, including Acting Director of Airside Operations and Standards, Head of MTC Airfield Safety and Special Projects, and Head of Training Programmes and Operations. Prior to this, Joseph worked at the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) as an Aerodrome Operations Senior Inspector from January 2009 to May 2014 and as an Aerodrome Inspector at the Civil Aviation Authority from May 2007 to January 2009. Joseph began the career at Manchester Airport, serving as Airside Operations Manager from February 2002 to April 2007. Joseph has recently taken on a relaxed and retired role at Take it easy Ltd since April 2019, expressing gratitude to past colleagues and supporters. Education was completed at Bedford High School.
