Waleed previously held various leadership roles within the company, including Head of Airside Safety and Standards. Prior to their time at Abu Dhabi Airports, Waleed worked at the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority as Director of Communications, Navigation & Surveillance. Waleed also has experience in the oil & gas industry as a Senior Processes Plant Operator. Waleed holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering and a Higher Diploma in Electronic Engineering.
