Lina Jarrar

Lina Jarrar, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Lina has held various roles in different companies, demonstrating their expertise in project management and delivery.

Lina started their recent role in 2019 as the Head of Information Security Programs and Projects at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. Prior to that, they served as the Head of PMO at United Arab Bank from 2018 to 2019.

In 2017, Lina worked as a Project Consultant and Trainer at Wise Quest, where they provided consulting services and delivered training programs. Before that, they were a Senior Project Manager at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), overseeing the successful delivery of complex and strategic projects across the organization from 2014 to 2017.

Lina gained significant experience as a Senior Project Manager at NCR Corporation from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they demonstrated their ability to manage high-scale projects.

Lina worked as a freelance PMP Trainer from 2009 to 2013, providing training and guidance to aspiring project management professionals.

Lina's project management career started at Arab Bank PLC, where they held the position of Project Delivery Manager and PMO Manager from 2006 to 2009. Lina'sresponsibilities included managing troubled projects, implementing project portfolio management processes, and supporting project managers in various aspects of their projects.

In 2006, Lina briefly worked as a PMO Consultant at Housing Bank for Trade and Finance, where they established an IT PMO and implemented project management standards and methodology.

Lina'searlier experience includes working as a QA/PMO Supervisor at Islamic Bank/Future Applied Computer Technology, where they standardized software development processes and built a project management methodology.

Lina began their professional journey as a Technical Project Manager at the University of Applied Science, where they gained valuable experience in managing technical projects.

Throughout their career, Lina has consistently demonstrated their ability to successfully manage projects, deliver high-quality results, and contribute to the growth and success of the organizations they have worked for.

Lina Jarrar, PMP completed their high school education at Albert Campbell C.I from 1989 to 1992, earning a high school diploma. Following this, they pursued their bachelor's degree in Computer Science at York University from 1993 to 1997, successfully obtaining a BA degree.
