Mohamad Shbaro

Mohamad Shbaro is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Compliance in the International Business Group at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank since March 2023, Mohamad oversees the implementation of compliance programs across international locations, ensuring regulatory alignment. Prior roles include Data Protection Officer and Head of International Compliance at Bank of Beirut, where responsibilities encompassed data protection strategy and anti-money laundering compliance. Mohamad has also held significant positions at Cedrus Invest Bank and Bank of Baghdad, focusing on compliance and regulatory adherence, and began a career in finance as a Financial Analyst at Bank Misr Liban. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Finance and Feasibility Studies from Beirut Arab University.
