Hassan Dawoud has a diverse range of work experience in the banking industry. Hassan started their career in 2002 at Misr International Bank, where they worked as a Remittances Dept. Supervisor until 2006. Hassan then joined Société Générale as a Treasury Back Office Section Head from 2006 to 2008. Hassan then moved on to Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt, where they held various roles including Head of Treasury Back Office & Funds Operations from 2008 to 2011, Head of Payment Services from 2011 to 2014, and ultimately became the Head of Market Risk from 2014 onwards. In 2021, they also became a Board Member for Egyptian Valves Company - EVACO.
Hassan Dawoud began their education at Pyramids Language School in 1982 and completed their studies there in 1996. Hassan then attended SADAT ACADEMY for MANAGEMENT SCIENCES from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Banking.
In 2015, Hassan enrolled at the International Academy of Business and Financial Management and studied Risk Management for one year. Hassan later pursued further education in Risk Management at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2021.
Hassan has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include certifications in Enterprise Risk Management, Certified Corporate Director, Project Finance Mastery, Managing the COVID19 Crisis, ALM Risk Management, Virtual Leadership, Future Leaders Program, Certified Risk Manager, Certified Market Risk Professional, General Management Program, and FRM Part1. The institutions from which they obtained these certifications range from ESLSCA University and Egyptian Institute of Directors to Red Rock International and LOGIC Training & HR Development.
