Mai El Awini

Mai El Awini is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in product management and development, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Abu Dhabi Media since September 2023. Previously, Mai held positions as a Product Owner at Englease.com and Alef Education, where innovation and leadership in mobile app development were key responsibilities. With a history of managing digital products for prominent brands at Abu Dhabi Media from 2017 to 2021, Mai's expertise also includes mobile engineering at Advance Digital Media and development of augmented reality applications at Current Studios. Mai began the professional journey as a Java Application Developer at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography after earning a Bachelor of Computer Science from Dalhousie University in 2010.
