Neamat ElTazi

Neamat ElTazi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Neamat began their career as an intern at Consulting Group for Total Systems Co. (CGTS) in 2000, where they worked as an Application Developer. Neamat then moved on to become a Teaching Assistant and later an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Computers and Information - Cairo University from 2001 to 2005.

In 2004, Neamat worked as a Website Developer for eMarketing Technologies, where they designed and built the "Survey Maker" product. Neamat was responsible for creating surveys with different designs and questions for companies.

From 2006 to 2008, Neamat served as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, working with Professor H. V. Jagadish as part of their Ph.D. studies. During this time, they gained valuable research experience.

Neamat joined Enovio LLC in 2007 as a Software Developer. Neamat worked on developing a SharePoint portal for an intranet and also integrated process development for the company.

In 2008, Neamat worked at Cultnat "Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage" as an Application Developer. Neamat contributed to the creation of database data entry applications for the "The memory of the Arab world" project, which aimed to preserve Arab culture.

Neamat then became an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computers and Information - Cairo University in 2018, after previously serving as an Assistant Professor from 2010 to 2018. Neamat'scourses included subjects related to computer science.

Most recently, in 2016, Neamat founded AbuErdan, a cloud-based poultry management solution. As the Founder and COO, they utilized Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies to empower poultry farmers and optimize their operations, aiming to increase profitability and reduce waste.

Additionally, since 2020, Neamat has been working as an Independent Consultant for multiple companies, providing their expertise and guidance.

Neamat ElTazi completed their education in a chronological order. Neamat started by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems at Cairo University from 1997 to 2001. Neamat then continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Masters degree in Information Systems with a focus on Query Processing Techniques in the Web Environment from 2001 to 2003. Later on, from 2005 to 2009, Neamat attended Cairo University again and successfully completed their PhD in Information Systems. In 2010, they obtained a Diploma in Project Management from the Regional Information Technology Institute (RITI). In 2013, they participated in an Agile Foundation Certification program provided by SECC, which introduced their to Agile Methodology. Additionally, Neamat has earned several certifications throughout their career. In 2011, they became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute. Then, in 2018, they achieved the Blockchain Developer - Explorer Award and the Blockchain Developer - Mastery Award, both awarded by IBM. Neamat has also attended a Data Science Meetup, though no specific degree or certification was obtained from it.
