Omar Sabri

Omar Sabri has a diverse range of work experience. Omar currently holds the position of Regional Head of Assessments at Abwaab, a role they started in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Operations at Abwaab from July 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Abwaab, Omar worked at Uber as a Greenlight Team Lead for Jordan and Lebanon from June 2019 to July 2020. Omar was responsible for managing experts and senior experts across Greenlight Hubs and ensuring that partner drivers received high levels of support. Omar also emphasized customer satisfaction and worked on ad hoc projects. Earlier at Uber, they served as a Greenlight Supervisor from January 2019 to May 2019.

Prior to their time at Uber, Omar worked at ArabiaWeather Inc. as a Senior Corporate Development Associate from September 2018 to January 2019. In this role, they worked directly with senior management on corporate strategies and provided reporting to the Board of Directors. Omar was also responsible for conducting in-depth quarterly reporting and making recommendations for improvement. Before that, they worked as a Corporate Development Specialist at ArabiaWeather Inc. from December 2016 to August 2018.

Omar's work experience also includes a role as a Business Development Officer at Rubicon Group Holding from October 2015 to November 2016. In this position, they acted as a key contact person and liaison for partners, oversaw projects, and assessed business opportunities in the Gulf and Middle East regions.

Omar began their career as a Corporate Planning & Strategy Officer at Integrated Technology Group (ITG) from May 2014 to July 2015. In this role, they assisted in developing the corporate strategy, worked on business proposals, and led a project to expand operations in the US. Omar also worked as a Graduate Associate at ITG from December 2013 to April 2014.

Omar gained early work experience as an intern at PwC in the Advisory - Deals Department for six weeks in 2011. During this internship, they completed assignments related to industry research, internal communication, and valuation.

Omar also worked as a Trainee at Target Chemicals Est. in 2010, gaining experience in sales, logistics, audit, and accounting. Additionally, they served as a Trainee at Union Bank in 2009, rotating between back office, customer relations, and teller departments.

Through their various roles, Omar has developed skills in operations management, team leadership, corporate development, business strategy, and customer service.

Omar Sabri completed their education in a chronological sequence. Omar began their academic journey by attending Amman Baccalaureate School from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate degree. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Management with International Business at Royal Holloway, University of London, from 2009 to 2012. Subsequently, they enrolled in UCL between 2012 and 2013, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management. In addition to their formal education, in December 2016, Omar achieved a certification in Introduction to Psychology from Coursera Course Certificates.
