Greg Thompson - Wharton Gmp

Greg Thompson has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Greg is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at ABX, a flexible packaging manufacturer, where they are responsible for managing all aspects of information technology and information security. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President Information Technology at the same company. Greg has also worked at DXC Technology as a Managing Partner and at Virtual Clarity as an Advisor and Solution Lead. Greg has experience working at EnPro Industries Inc. in various roles, including Director of Enterprise IT, Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations, Director of IT Customer Services, and Enterprise Architect. Greg has also worked at Polymer Group Inc. as the Director of Global Business and Systems Analysis and Manager of Enterprise Information and Applications Architect. Earlier in their career, Greg worked at Oracle in different roles as a Consulting Technical Manager, Senior Principal Consultant, Principal Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Staff Consultant. Greg also has experience working as an Oracle Consultant at Alcoa Milled Products and as a Project Engineer at USDA.

Greg Thompson attended Virginia Tech from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2018, they enrolled at The Wharton School and completed the General Management Program in 2020. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in August 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in August 2021, and the General Management Program from Wharton Executive Education in March 2020.
