Abdulwahab Alhashemi's work experience begins in 2010 with an internship at L.F. Driscoll, where they were involved in a project management internship for the PSU HMC New Children's Hospital. In 2011, they joined KEO International Consultants as an Architectural Engineer and later became an Assistant Construction Manager. At KEO International Consultants, they worked on projects such as the Burj AlShaya Four Seasons Hotel and the Al Othman Commercial Charity Complex. In 2014, Abdulwahab pursued their MBA at IE Business School. After completing their MBA in 2015, they co-founded and served as the COO of The Lunch Club from 2018 to 2019. Abdulwahab also worked as a Partner and COO at perfectFIT from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, Abdulwahab joined ABYAT, where they held the positions of Category Senior Manager, Head of Category - Home Furniture, and currently, as the Business Unit Head. In their current role, they are responsible for category development, strategic direction, and positioning for the Home Furniture portfolio. Abdulwahab also oversees the category range of assortment, pricing strategy, and trading margins. Additionally, Abdulwahab leads the supply chain team to ensure optimal inventory levels and achieve availability ratios.
Abdulwahab Alhashemi completed their Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (Construction Management Option) from Penn State University between 2007 and 2011. Later, in 2014 and 2015, they pursued an International MBA with a focus on Strategy and Entrepreneurship from IE Business School.
