In 2011, they worked as a Sales Associate at Nordstrom. From 2013 to 2015, Javier served as a Project Manager at Engineers Without Borders USA. Javier then joined Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. in 2015 as a Water Conveyance Engineer, where their responsibilities included computational fluid dynamics, pipeline design, and compliance with water and wastewater systems. In 2020, Javier transitioned to Layne Water Midstream as a Systems Engineer before becoming a Project Manager, focusing on systems and operations. Currently, they are the Manager of Operations & Product Delivery at Abyss Solutions Pty Ltd, a role they took on in February 2022.
