Subsequently, Curtis pursued further education by completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2007 to 2010.

Curtis obtained the Certified Corporate FP&A Professional certification from the Association for Financial Professionals in July 2020.
