Roy Jennings is an experienced music professional with a diverse background in performance coaching and church music ministry. Currently serving as a Performance Coach at The Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY) since September 2012, Roy specializes in coaching doctoral candidates in ensemble performances of classical music spanning from Bach to Richard Strauss. In addition, Roy has held the position of Assistant Minister of Music at Abyssinian Baptist Church since 1991 and has been the Minister of Music at Bronx Baptist Church since 1986, where responsibilities include music provision for services, choir training, and event preparation. From 2011 to 2013, Roy also served as a Guest Lecturer at Queens College, focusing on the history and development of African-American Spirituals. Roy holds both a Master of Music and a Bachelor's degree in Music from the Manhattan School of Music.
