Nicolas Camper has a strong background in bioconjugation chemistry and has worked in various roles in this field. Nicolas started their career as a Development Chemist at Evotec in 2002 and then became a PhD Student at Fusion Antibodies plc from 2005 to 2009. Nicolas continued their academic pursuits as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Queen's University Belfast from 2010 to 2013. Nicolas then joined PolyTherics Limited, an Abzena Company, as a Senior Scientist from 2013 to 2016. Currently, they are working at Abzena as a Senior Director of Bioconjugation Chemistry since April 2021, and previously held the positions of Group Leader and Team Leader in the same domain from 2016 to 2021.
Nicolas Camper holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biomedical Sciences from Queen's University Belfast, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Ecole nationale supérieure de Chimie de Rennes between 2000 and 2004.
