Thu Tran

Thu Tran, MBA has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 1995, they began their career at Amgen as a Database Administrator (DBA) for Research Applications Development. Thu also served as a Senior Database Administrator (DBA)/Project Manager for Human Resources, leading key projects for Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll. Thu later transitioned to the role of Training Specialist III, eLearning - Manufacturing, where they successfully implemented standardized methodology for testing and launching eLearning courses company-wide. Thu then became the Sr. Training Manager - Manufacturing, leading the requirements phase for a new Amgen Learning Management project and spearheading enterprise solutions for eLearning best practices. In 2007, Thu started working as a Senior Manager/Director Research and Development at Amgen, managing multimillion-dollar programs and launching a standard management reports web portal. In 2015, they became an Independent Business Owner of a full-service IT company called BlueFire Global Solutions, where they successfully launched the company and developed customized IT solutions for multinational corporations. Currently, Thu is the Director of Enterprise Applications and Data at Abzena.

Thu Tran holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from San Diego State University. With a keen interest in management and organizational behavior, Thu pursued an MBA from California Lutheran University.
