Peter B. has a diverse work experience across various sectors. Peter started their career in 2008 as an Educational Paraprofessional at Aurora Mental Health Center. Peter then served as a Community Health Volunteer in the United States Peace Corps from 2010 to 2012. Following that, they worked as an Education Program Specialist at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains for a year. Peter then joined Denver Health as a Patient Navigator from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Backwaiter at The Kitchen and later as a Bartender/Server at Crazy Mountain Brewing Company in 2016. In 2017, Peter served as an Occupational Intern at the Office of the National Western Center in the City and County of Denver. Simultaneously, they worked as an Admissions Assistant at the University of Colorado Denver from 2017 to 2018. From 2019 to 2020, Peter worked as a Disaster Recovery Grants Planner at Boulder County. Currently, they are working as a Disaster Recovery Program Manager at AC Disaster Consulting since July 2020.
Peter B. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Africana Studies at Marquette University from 2004 to 2008. Later, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued their Masters of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) degree with a focus on City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning at the University of Colorado Denver.
