Efthymia Vokali

Efthymia Vokali is a Senior Research Scientist at AC Immune since August 2017, previously holding the position of Research Scientist. Prior to this role, Vokali was a Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Researcher at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne from September 2011 to December 2016, focusing on immunotherapeutic vaccines and lymphatic endothelial cells. Vokali has a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology and Bioengineering from EPFL and a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the same institution. Early academic experience includes a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a research internship at the University of Tehran. Vokali has substantial expertise in immune responses, vaccine design, and collaborations across European research groups.
