Nicolas Preitner

Nicolas Preitner is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the fields of neurology and molecular neurobiology. Currently serving as Team Leader at AC Immune since June 2022, Nicolas leads a team focused on small molecule discovery for Alzheimer's disease. Prior roles include Group Leader at Nestlé, where Nicolas established a scientific vision for Brain Aging research and led a 10-person team through various stages of compound discovery. Nicolas has also served as a Senior Scientist at Moderna Therapeutics, where a neurology research program was developed, and as a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, identifying genetic programs influencing neural connections. Educational achievements include a PhD in Molecular Neurobiology and advanced training in healthcare innovation and management from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School.
