Jeff Wernecke

Jeff Wernecke is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in recruitment and digital talent management. As Managing Director and Partner at AC Lion Digital Executive Search since January 2016, Jeff leads a consultancy focused on human capital in the digital sector, establishing high-level connections across various fields including Product, Design, Marketing, Sales, Client Services, and Technology. In addition, Jeff serves as a Partner in the independent Venture Capital arm of AC Lion, providing strategic business advisory to emerging tech companies. Prior to this, Jeff spent over a decade at The Hired Guns, where roles included Director of Client Services and Recruitment, and Account Director, driving talent solutions for diverse digital firms. Earlier career experience includes serving as Director of Marketing at Smock Media and Account Supervisor at Margeotes | Fertitta + Partners. Jeff holds a BA in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Vermont.
