Shaina Aber

Shaina Aber is the Executive Director at Acacia Center for Justice. Previously, Shaina was the Deputy Director at Vera Institute of Justice, where Shaina oversaw a national immigration portfolio and developed federal immigration policy agendas. Shaina also has experience as a Program Director and Regional Manager at Vera Institute of Justice, focusing on increasing access to legal information and legal defense for unaccompanied children facing removal. Prior to this, Shaina held positions at US Jesuit Conference and Jesuit Refugee Service, where Shaina worked on policy priorities and advocacy for refugees and vulnerable migrants. Shaina holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in Latin American Studies and Sociology from Macalester College.
