Balan Balasingham

Balan Balasingham is a highly experienced engineer specializing in Optical and RF test development, currently serving as a Senior Optical/RF Test Development Engineer at Acacia Communications since May 2013. In this role, Balan is responsible for developing test solutions for advanced Silicon Photonics integrated circuits utilized in high-speed fiber optic transmission applications. Prior to this, Balan worked as an RF Design Verification and Reliability Engineer at Andrew Corporation, focusing on designing test systems for various RF products. Additional experience includes roles at Tellium and Bell Labs Lucent Technologies, where Balan contributed to optical design integration and RF product verification, respectively. Balan holds a Master's degree in Microwave and Lightwave Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.
