Geoffrey Kimball

Geoffrey Kimball is a seasoned software engineer with significant experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as a Sr. Software Engineer at Acacia Communications Inc. since November 2019, Geoffrey has contributed to projects involving OFDMA support and remote PHY product development. Prior to this, Geoffrey held various technical leadership roles at Cisco from 2009 to November 2019, focusing on software development for cable and mobility platforms, including the Cisco ASR5500 Mobile Gateway and CBR-8 platform. Additional experience includes serving as a Principal Software Engineer at BigBand Networks, as well as software engineering roles at ADC Telecommunications, Ciena Corp., and RadiSys Corporation. Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering with an Environmental minor from Rochester Institute of Technology, earned between 1987 and 1992.
