Gregory Ashton

Gregory Ashton is an experienced operations director with a strong background in the management and mobilization of large-scale contracts within the care and custody sector. Currently serving as Operations Director at Acacium Group since November 2020, Gregory previously held multiple leadership roles at Care and Custody, including Deputy Head of Overseas and Mobilisation Manager, where key achievements included the successful transition of operational services and management of major contracts such as the £55m Home Office Escorting Services Contract. With a foundation in law as a qualified solicitor, Gregory has also worked in business development and strategic management roles, including participation in Mitie's Graduate Leadership Programme. Educationally, Gregory holds a Legal Practice Course and a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, alongside a degree in Social Policy and Criminology from The University of Sheffield.
