Darren-Michael Yocum

Darren-Michael Yocum is the current President & CEO at Academe Solutions. Darren-Michael has over 14 years of experience in the Higher Education sector and has been with Academe Solutions since 1999. In their previous role as Chief Executive Officer, they were responsible for national consulting operations which included project management, budgeting, quality assurance, and resource allocation. Darren has also advised and coached senior and executive leadership on various topics such as software/vendor choice, enterprise wide implementation planning, recruitment and retention, reporting strategy, and how to integrate technology into long-term strategic plans. In addition to their experience in Higher Education, Darren has also led business development initiatives such as sales organization and training, marketing, presentations, client relationships, and response to proposals (RFPs).

Darren-Michael Yocum is a graduate of the University of Idaho, where they earned a Master of Science in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism. Darren-Michael also holds a Bachelor of Science in Theirtory and Political Science from Lewis-Clark State College and a Certificate in Professional Photography from the New York Institute of Photography.
