Daniel Wenger

Daniel Wenger has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Daniel started their career in 2004 as an IT Intern at e-Serve AG and later worked as a Business Engineer at the same company. In 2010, they joined Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research as a Scientific Data Curator and then transitioned into the role of Business Analyst.

In 2011, Daniel began working at Roche as a Scientific Business Analyst and Project Leader. Daniel played a key role in leading large research IT projects and managing software development. Their responsibilities included business workflow analysis, data integration, and leveraging various platforms such as Oracle, JavaScript, and Microsoft SharePoint.

Daniel continued their career at Omnia Gesundheitszentrum in 2020, where they became a Member of the Board of Directors. Daniel held this position until December 2022.

In 2015, Daniel also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at e-Serve AG. Daniel then took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at Academia Group Switzerland AG in September 2018.

Most recently, Daniel joined Edu Key Data AG in January 2022 as the Executive Director, further expanding their leadership experience.

From 2021 to 2022, Daniel attended the Wharton Executive Education program and obtained a Chief Technology Officer Program degree in the field of Information Technology.

In 2008, Daniel enrolled at the University of Basel and completed a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology with a major in Bioinformatics in 2009.

From 2005 to 2008, Daniel also studied at the University of Basel and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a major in Molecular Biology.

In 2004, Daniel attended ETH Zürich, where they pursued studies in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering.

From 2001 to 2003, Daniel attended Gymnasium Münchenstein, where they obtained a Matura degree with a focus on Applied Mathematics and Physics.

In 2000, Daniel studied at Inglewood High School in New Zealand.

Additionally, Daniel has obtained several certifications, including a Chief Technology Officer Program certification from the Wharton Executive Education program in November 2022, a Product Management and Strategy certification from the same program in November 2022, an Executive Presence and Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development certification from the Wharton Executive Education program in August 2022, and a Business Analytics: From Data to Insights Online Certificate Program certification from the Wharton Executive Education program in July 2022.
