Ashley Uy

Ashley Uy has over ten years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Product Designer II for Academia.edu, a social media platform for academics. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a UX/UI Designer for Hero Digital. In 2018, they worked as a Visual Designer for SK+G, where they implemented an effective user experience design process and produced digital designs, emails, landing pages and other collaterals. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Social Media Coordinator for LeBasse Projects. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Social Media Specialist, where they developed and implemented marketing strategies for clients' social media platforms. In 2017, they also worked as a UI/UX Design Apprentice for Thinkful, where they learned the fundamentals of design and mastered the principles of User Experience. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Personal Stylist for Stitch Fix. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Lead/Key Holder & Visual Merchandising Associate for Gap Inc., where they achieved daily sales quotas and improved customer service experiences. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Project Coordinator for UpperCloud Media. Lastly, they worked as an Outfitter for Trumaker in 2014.

Ashley Uy has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Ashley has also completed apprenticeships in UI/UX Design from Thinkful, and certificates in Front-End Web Development and Web Design Circuits from General Assembly. Ashley also attended the University of Nevada, Reno for Business Administration, Management and Operations.
