William Doyle-Capitman

Senior Product Manager

William Doyle-Capitman has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. William began their career as a Furniture Maker at Richard Wrightman Design, followed by a Furniture/Sculpture Maker at Evan Hughes Studio. In 2008, they moved to Robert Russel Design as a Production Manager. In 2011, they gained experience in Strategy and Program Management as an Intern at frog, Inc. William then worked as a Freelance Product Manager at STELLAService in 2012. In 2013, they became a Product Manager at Dice.com and also worked as a Product Manager at Bookish.com. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Senior Product Manager at BOLD, where they helped build the Native Mobile product capacity and business case. In 2017, they became a Senior Product Manager at Monster, where they focused on doubling the Engineering team, rebuilding the Search and Recommendation experiences, launching the app in 12 new EU countries, and optimizing account and profile creation funnels and applications/user metrics. Since 2018, they have been a Senior Product Manager at Academia.edu, where they have been building a video course platform to help the millions of scholars on the site share and monetize their teaching abilities, as well as launching the iOS and Android apps.

William Doyle-Capitman completed their high school education at Trinity High School (New York, NY) from 1998 to 2001. William then attended Vassar College from 2001 to 2005 and received a BA in Sociology. In 2007, they attended the New England School of Architectural Woodworking, but did not receive a degree. In 2010, they attended The City University of New York and received an MBA in 2012.
