Adam Palay

Adam is a Technology and Product Manager at KoBold, where he works with the engineering team to facilitate the collaboration between data scientists and geologists. He began his career in software, leading teams at edX and Etsy, before making a change to work on climate. Most recently, he was an investment associate at Breakthrough Energy Ventures, where he worked on impact assessment, grid modeling, and new thesis development in areas spanning climate adaptation, industrial heat, air conditioning, and carbon removal. He is interested in how technology can contribute to positive systemic change to alleviate the causes and harms of climate change.

Adam studied English literature and Philosophy as an undergraduate at Harvard. He has an MSt in English from Oxford and an MS in Engineering and MBA from Harvard.
