Mindy Bingham has a long and varied work experience. Mindy founded Academic Innovations in 1990 to help high school and college educators prepare students for self-sufficient futures. In 2009, they became a founding member of the Advisory Committee for Get Focused...Stay Focused! In 2015, they developed and taught a graduate-level certification program for Get Focused Stay Focused Program and Curriculum Specialist at Eastern Oregon University. In 1973, they were the Executive Director of Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara, and they founded Advocacy Press, publisher of the best-selling "Choices: A Teen Woman's Journal for Self-Awareness and Personal Planning" and "Changes," a young men's version. Finally, in 1977, they were an Adjunct Professor at Westmont College.

Mindy Bingham began their educational journey in 1968 at San Diego State University, though they did not complete a degree. Mindy then attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 1970 to 1974, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences. No additional certifications are listed.
