Johnlyn Mitchell

Johnlyn Mitchell is a seasoned educational leader with extensive experience in administration and teaching. Currently serving as the Senior Executive Director at Academic Partnerships since July 2006, Johnlyn collaborates with school districts in Texas Region 10, providing information to administrators and teachers about online degrees from Lamar University and other accredited Texas institutions. Johnlyn also holds a long tenure as a Principal in the Dallas Independent School District, starting in 1989 and continuing in the role until 2005, with an ongoing position as Principal since 2006. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Arts in Music Education from West Texas A&M University, alongside an Associate of Arts in Music Performance (piano) from Stephens College.
